Buyer's Premium

A buyer’s premium of 15% will be added to all purchases following the completion of the auction.

Condition of Online Auction Lots

All high bids are considered legal binding contracts and all sales are final. All items are sold "as is where is", with NO guarantees, warranty, or possible refund written, expressed, or implied. The working/running condition of an item may not be known and may not always be listed in the item’s description. Sometimes we do know and list the condition of the item, but many times we do not. Please note that all sales are final regardless of the purchased item’s condition, unless the discretion of a Bid Llama Manager deems differently.

All items sell AS IS - WHERE IS WITH ALL FAULTS and with no warranty of any type expressed or implied as to the merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose of any goods offered in this sale. All sales are made on an AS IS - WHERE IS WITH ALL FAULTS basis. All buyers are urged to physically inspect the item prior to bidding during the inspection period. No bids can be withdrawn once submitted before, during or after the auction for any reason. BUYER agrees that these terms as well as all other terms set forth below, can be amended or revised only in writing, signed by a Bid Llama Manager. BUYER also agrees that any oral representation made by Bidllama.com or its agents shall not modify these "AS IS - WHERE IS WITH ALL FAULTS" terms. BUYER understands that any description given, written on the equipment, or advertised by any other means is not guaranteed, and BUYER will rely entirely on their own inspection. All information and descriptions contained in advertising the items for sale are believed correct, but no responsibility is assumed by BidLlama.com, or seller, for any errors or omissions.

Forklift & Loading Dock

Forklift & Loading Dock Services are Available. All equipment must be operated by Bid Llama personnel only.

Incremental Bidding

A bid may be placed for any amount equal to or greater than the current required bid amount, which means your bid amount is not required to be an increment of the posted bid increment.

Example:

Current bid at $10.00 with a bid increment of $2.00.

Minimum bid required would be $12.00.

A bid may be placed for any amount equal to or greater than $12.00.

The bid amount is not required to be in increments of $2.00; therefore a bid could be placed for $17.00 or $76.00 or whatever amount you wish to bid as long as it is equal to or greater than the minimum bid required.

The winning bid may end up at any amount. It may not be divisible by the stated increment. The winning bid will be the highest bid placed at the close of the auction for the lot being bidded upon. The auction is NOT considered closed until the admin makes a post in the comments section declaring the winning bidder.

Inspection Times

Items are available for inspection the date of the auction until 5pm. 

If coming in for inspection, we do ask that customers be reasonable on what and how many items they would like to preview. We cannot allow customers to just browse the warehouse.

Payment Dates

All of the facebook auction items are located at the Bid Llama warehouse located at: 5401 1st Ave N, Bay B, Birmingham, AL 35222 unless otherwise stated in the online listing/description.

All items purchased are to be paid for and picked up by the following week’s end of day on Friday. After this period, Bid Llama reserves the right to process the credit card on file for the balance due and charge a $2 per lot/per day storage fee.

For example, if the auction occurs on Monday the 1st, then the items must be paid for and picked up by Friday the 12th. 

Auction Closing Times

Posted closing times, comments and displays of bidllama.com's current time are approximate. Bid Llama reserves the right to close early or extend auctions at any time at its discretion. It is strongly recommended that bids be placed early to avoid losing out due to an ill-timed, last minute bid. All times are based on the Central Standard Time Zone. 

Refund Policy

If an item is not described or pictured properly, Bid Llama offers a 10 day refund policy. The 10 days begin at the completion of the auction and not when the items are picked up/paid for. Please use the description and pictures to make your bidding decision. Keep in mind that the factory picture cannot be used as a reason for refund as it is used for illustration purposes only. 

Removal Times / Failure to Remove

All items purchased are to be paid for and picked up by the following week’s end of day on Friday. After this period, Bid Llama reserves the right to process the credit card on file for the balance due and charge a $2 per lot/per day storage fee.

If the purchases have not been removed within 4 days following the 10 day allotted time of payment and pickup, these items will be considered abandoned and Bid Llama reserves the right to relist/resell any and all those items considered to be abandoned or forfeited even when the invoice is paid in full but not removed completely from auction location. No refunds will be provided for items that are forfeited and/or abandoned.

If for any reason the buyer fails to remove any purchases within the time specified, Bid Llama shall have the right but not the obligation, in its sole discretion, to resell, discard or remove and store said purchase at the buyers sole risk and expense (storage costs will be charged - per day - per item - other costs additional), without waiving any rights that Bid Llama or seller may have against buyer. Storage charges will be the responsibility of the buyer (after removal period.) 

Sales Tax

All bidders will be subject to 10% Sales Tax. If you are tax exempt, email a copy of your sales tax license to support@bidllama.com.

Sales tax is calculated on the total sales price which includes the Buyer's Premium (therefore Buyer's Premium is also taxable). 

Shipping Options / Information

At this time, Bid Llama is only offering local pick up of items. In the future, we hope to offer shipping and last mile delivery for larger items in the metro Birmingham area.

Over-Time Bidding

Over-Time bidding is a term we use to describe our policy that there must be 3 minutes of bidding inactivity before we will allow an auction to officially end. When over-time bidding is triggered, bidding will be taken over by the admin, and the bidders will have 3 minutes to place another bid or the bidding is finished. If there is a counter bid, the auction will continue going until there is 3 minutes of inactivity. Highest bidder wins and the winner is declared. 

Example:

An item is bid on at 6:57pm. The auction is scheduled to close at 7pm. When this bid is placed the ending time of the auction for that lot will automatically extend to 7:03pm. When another bid is placed at 7:02pm the auction for that lot will extend until 8:06pm. This will give the other bidders 4 additional minutes to place another bid. If no bids are placed in that time, this auction will conclude at 8:06pm. The key to the over-time bidding policy is that the auction will extend from the present closing time in 3 minute intervals, NOT 3 minutes from when the bid was placed.

Types of Payment

Bid Llama accepts credit cards and cash payments. 

If paying with a card, to ensure a smooth pick up, please pay your invoice online following the completion of the auction after the Bid Llama Team sets up your account and sends you an invoice.

Factory Pictures & Descriptions

The first picture for most items is a factory picture and is meant for illustration purposes only. Please rely on other pictures, item description, and noted issues for actual condition and included accessories or parts.

Descriptions may have language around shipping, warranties, and other manufacturer provided services. We do our best to remove this language, however, some may be missed and may still be included in the description. These should be ignored and bids should be placed with the assumption that because these are returns/overstock items, those services are no longer available.

Item Conditions:

• New – Retail Ready, New in box, includes manuals, remotes, accessories where applicable.
• Open Box - Unused – Opened, does not appear to ever be used, may not be in original packaging, may not include manuals, remotes, hardware, or accessories. 
• Slightly Used – Opened, maybe used once or twice, minimal signs of wear.
• Used – Item has been visibly used, typically works as it should, see description for additional details.
• Parts or Repair – Items are in non-working condition and need to be repaired or used for parts.
• Salvage - Salvage assets are intended for professional buyers, as most can be used only for parts. These assets are offered "as-is, where-is" with no returns, guarantees, or claims as to be in working condition.

Store Returns & Overstock

All items sold through Bid Llama are some form of store returns and/or overstock items from major retailers. Returns are items that were sold to a customer, who then physically brought or shipped the item back to a store/online retailer. Reasons for returning a product may not have any correlation to its usefulness, and as a result that product may be in fine working order. Returns may have some operational and/or cosmetic problems. Depending on a company's return policy, these items may also reflect a measurable amount of use. They may or may not come in original packaging and may not have any of the advertised documentation or additional parts and/or accessories. Returns can exhibit a wide range of individual product and package conditions that can differ substantially from the original manufacturing.
